Very interesting article. It’s hard to find information on this topic. When you say that 800 T-72 tanks have been modernised… shouldn’t it be refurbished? all the T-72 tanks I have seen are old export variants from Soviet times. The only upgrade they have received is Kontakt-1 ERA, which is rather modest by today’s standards.
